About Us

Nicole went to University of Cincinnati to obtain her Masters in Occupational Therapy. She is a licensed occupational therapist in Ohio and is certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy. Nicole graduated from University of Cincinnati in 2022. Nicole got her licensure and certification right away and began working as an occupational therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Kentucky. 

Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Nicole started as a direct support professional at Metzcor, LLC. Metzcor is a community campus for adults with developmental disabilities. Metzcor provides individuals opportunities to develop new vocational and social skills, and become more independent in all aspects of their lives. After four years of working at Metzcor, Nicole saw a need for occupational therapy with this population and began to develop Nicole Bertke OTR/L, LLC!

Our mission is to promote health and quality of life for all populations by maximizing one's independence in meaningful, everyday tasks. It is our goal to provide quality services to every client and encourage family and/or caregivers to participate in the therapy process.
